Project Spotlight // Bromley Town Hall Hotel

Part of a major renovation of Bromley Town Hall, the Brama boutique hotel is a great addition to the local area. The much-loved historical building, dating back to 1907, had fallen into disrepair in recent years. Restoring the building and retaining its beautiful architectural features, has brought it back to life with renewed purpose.

Mixed-Use Scheme

A contemporary makeover has enhanced the art deco features and brings the interior up to date for today’s discerning customer. The hotel is part of a mixed-use scheme which includes flexible workspace, managed by Clockwise, and an all-day restaurant.

FF&E Hospitality Procurement Our Bureau workspace division managed the procurement and installation of furniture for the flexible office space. Ply, the hospitality division of Bureau Group, supported the project with FF&E procurement for the hotel and restaurant.

Art Deco Styling

Sourcing furniture which complemented the period architecture and art deco features was key to the success of the project. Rich, bold colours used in the bedrooms and public spaces evoke the 1920s/1930s era. Sumptuous velvet, sinuous curves and waterfall design, contrasts with sleek wooden panelling and floors.

Finishing Touches

Neutral, leather and metal accents and geometric patterned accessories add glamour to grand rooms and inviting bedroom suites.

Completed in 2023, this has been a triumph for the restoration of a heritage building and for local businesses and the wider community.
